We are experts in installing fixed fire suppression systems in commercial warehousing and industrial manufacturing facilities. We can design and install a system that will meet and exceed your requirements, whether it be traditional wet systems for ordinary hazards, dry pipe systems for low-temperature areas, or deluge systems for high-risk processing and storage areas.

One of our main areas of expertise is commercial office and retail fit-outs. Our team has experience in all major Perth shopping centres, completing installations for some of the worlds leading retail brands. We have also completed office space fit-outs in a majority of the high-rise buildings that dominate the Perth CBD.

As a fire company Perth we employ staff highly qualified in providing fire protection equipment to the resource sector, from vehicle-mounted foam extinguishing systems and transportable inert gas flood systems to installation, service and we supply fire services Perth.

// Automatic Sprinkler Systems

A fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection method, consisting of a network of pipes and valves installed to distribute a design concentration of water to the exact location of the fire source. The fire is detected by a heat sensitive frangible bulb or fusible link, which forms part of a standard sprinkler head.

By a wide margin, wet pipe fire sprinkler systems are installed more often than all other types of fire sprinkler systems. They also are the most reliable, because they are simple, with the only operating components being the automatic sprinklers and (commonly, but not always) the automatic alarm check valve. An automatic water supply provides water under pressure to the system piping.

Deluge systems are systems in which all sprinklers connected to the water piping system are open, in that the heat sensing operating element is removed, or specifically designed as such. These systems are used for special hazards where rapid fire spread is a concern, as they provide a simultaneous application of water over the entire hazard.

Fire Pumps

A fire pump is a part of a fire system’s water supply and in Australia, they are powered by electric, or compression ignition engines. The pump intake is either connected to the public underground water supply piping, or a static water source (e.g., tank, reservoir, lake).

Fire Water Storage Tanks

Fire Water Storage Tanks are essential in our work for fire protection Perth related concerns. They are used for situations where the public water supply is insufficient to provide the flow and pressure required for some fire protection systems.

Firewater storage tanks are usually connected to a pumping system to deliver the water to the fire sprinkler system or hydrant/hose reel system.

Detection & Warning Systems

Fire detection and warning systems are one of the most important components of a fire management plan. Detection systems are capable of detecting fire through the use of smoke, thermal or other types of detection. These systems can also interface to fire sprinkler systems, meaning activation of a single sprinkler head will initiate a fire signal on the fire detection system. The system typically consists of the fire suppressing agent, agent storage containers, agent release valves, fire detectors, fire detection system (wiring control panel, actuation signalling), agent delivery piping, and agent dispersion nozzles.

Fire System Maintenance & Testing

In Australia, Fire System Maintenance and testing are governed by AS1851. Routine maintenance not only ensures your fire system is in good working order and ready to activate in an emergency, but also identifies issues, which if left may turn into costly repairs.

Testing frequency can vary based on your fire protection equipment, however, most fire protection system items such as fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire hydrant systems when connected to fire pumps, and water storage tanks are tested on a monthly, six monthly, annual and five yearly bases.
